Little Stony Point
During June and July 2023, a beautiful natural stone staircase was added on the "Overlook Trail" on Little Stony Point. The Overlook Trail was recently rerouted and the 25-step staircase was added to afford easier access to the magnificent overlook of the river and the Hudson Highlands. The stone steps are both functional and a landscape art form. The steps serve a conservation goal of keeping visitors on a single trail to aid in preserving the surrounding woodlands.
